Me internally; kyo/saya is a gross ship built on an abusive relationship where one person never showed any positive emotion to the other AND was still getting over previous loves while the other had just lost a dear friend (probably lover) and their family and who tried to remain emotionally void to prevent themselves from getting hurt but tried to open up to someone who they saw themselves in, and their most memorable interaction was LITERALLY a battle to the death
